The Company
SVEGE Flugdienstleistungen GmbH was founded on 30th July 2014 and is based at Braunschweig Airport.
The management team consists of Darren Broderick (Managing Director), Thomas Schachtner (Managing Director), Sven Pfeil (Senior Flight Inspector) und Sascha Parzy, (Senior Flight Inspector), Jim Philip (Captain), Christian Jatho (First Officer) and Officer Manager Claudia Hintzen.
We, the SVEGE Flugdienstleistungen GmbH, are a highly motivated, a committed and reliable team with service orientation.
Our common goal is to ensure a good and reliable Flight Inspection Service for regional airports in Germany and in other countries. For this, we have first-class trained and experienced staff with many years of professional experience in Flight Inspection at home and abroad.
Our aircraft are based in Braunschweig which means that every airport in Europe can be reached within a few hours.

Thomas Schachtner, Managing Director & Flight Inspector
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in telecommunication and systems controls
- Authorisation of the Federal Supervisory Office for air traffic control for testing and maintaining air traffic control technical facilities at German civil and military airports, including commissioning flight checks.__
- 35 years as Flight Inspection Engineer in Germany, Australia, Singapore
- Flight Inspection experience and projects in numerous countries
- 10 years of Flight Inspection Systems Development and Testing
- 20 years of Business Development Manager in Flight Inspection Companies
Sven Pfeil, Senior Flight Inspection Engineer
- Graduate Engineer Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in telecommunications
- Authorisation of the Federal Supervisory Office for air traffic control for testing and maintaining air traffic control technical facilities at German civil and military airports, including commissioning flight checks
- Training license for personnel in flight inspections
Work Experience
- 26 years as a Flight Inspection Engineer in Germany and abroad
- For 12 years he held a leading position in the AFI Flight Inspection GmbH
Sascha Parzy, Flight Inspection Engineer, QM
- Certified Engineer for telecommunications
- HF technology and 5 years as Avionics Technician
- Authorization of the Federal Supervisory Office for air traffic control for testing and maintaining air traffic control technical facilities at German civil and military airports, including commissioning flight checks
- Training license for personnel in flight inspections
Work Experience
- 18 years’ experience as a Flight Inspection Engineer in Germany and abroad
- 10 years serving in the German Navy, with 5 years responsibility for calibration technicians
Claudia Hintzen, Office Manager
- since 1999 as an office manager in an international aviation organisation
- since November 2015 Office Manager at SVEGE
